What you'll cover

This course is designed for individuals who need to safely and effectively operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), specifically cherry pickers (boom lifts). It provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work at height in line with industry best practice and IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) standards.

The different types of MEWPs and their applications
Pre-use inspections and safety checks
Safe operating procedures for cherry pickers
Hazard awareness and risk assessments
Emergency lowering and rescue procedures
