What you'll cover

This course is designed for learners who have already completed an introductory scaffolding course or have some prior experience in construction and want to take the next step in their scaffolding career. It focuses on developing practical competence, strengthening technical knowledge, and building confidence in carrying out scaffolding tasks to industry standards.

Learners will extend their knowledge of scaffolding structures, equipment, and safe working practices. You will learn how to assemble, alter, and dismantle more advanced scaffolding systems, while maintaining strict health and safety compliance. Teamwork, communication on-site, and understanding industry regulations will also be a key part of the programme.

Through practical, hands-on workshops, learners will gain valuable site experience, preparing them for employment opportunities or progression into higher-level scaffolding qualifications. On successful completion, you will achieve an NOCN-recognised qualification, providing a strong foundation for long-term career development in the scaffolding industry.

How it's delivered
