What you'll cover

This course is designed to meet employer needs and introduce learners to the scaffolding industry. It provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to begin a career in scaffolding, with a focus on safety, industry standards, and effective working practices.

Learners will be introduced to the fundamentals of scaffolding, including equipment, materials, and the correct methods for assembling and dismantling basic structures. You will also develop an understanding of site health and safety, risk assessments, and working as part of a team in a construction environment.

As part of the programme, learners will take part in practical workshops to gain hands-on experience, building confidence in carrying out tasks safely and effectively. You will complete a recognised NOCN qualification that can support progression into employment or further training in the scaffolding trade.

How it's delivered

Theory elements can be completed remotely, with practical sessions delivered face to face and full tutor support throughout.
